Re-lofting your down coat after unboxing
All down jackets and coats are shipped compressed to reduce transport volume and emissions. Once unboxed, the down simply needs time to re-loft. Let it breathe for a day, and the jacket will regain its full insulation and the intended fit.

When you take your BLÆST down coat out of the box, it may look slightly flatter than expected and the fit is not right. That’s because the coat has been intentionally compressed to save space during transport, reducing the environmental footprint from factory to warehouse to customer.
Compression has no impact on performance, but it means the down inside the chambers needs a little time to re-loft.
To restore its full volume, hang the coat and let it breathe for at least 24 hours. As the down gradually expands, you’ll see the puff return, the silhouette settle, and the insulation come back to life. There’s nothing you need to do. Let airflow and gravity handle the rest while you do something else.
After this breathing period, the coat will feel fuller and warmer, and you can check the fit as it was intended. Ready for the cold. Ready for everyday wear.
