Most of our products are waterproof with a 20,000 mm water column and taped sealed seams. 

If you placed an order and haven't received information about the shipping, we are still processing your order at our warehouse. Once the order leaves our warehouse, we'll send you a tracking notification from DHL/Aalesund Protective Wear.

If you haven't received an order confirmation or if you deleted it by mistake, you can contact us at hello@blst.world and ask us to send you that information. Please leave your name and the email address you used to place your order.

When we ship your order from our warehouse, you will receive an email from DHL/Aalesund Protective Wear with a tracking link. If you have not received this email, we are still processing your order at our warehouse.

If you place your order before 4 PM during our work week (Monday - Friday), we aim to ship the parcel the same day. Still, it might take a little longer when we have season sales or release new products (periods with high demand).

Order confirmations should be sent to your email just a few minutes after you have placed your order. Sometimes, the order confirmation is filtered out and sorted to your spam/trash folder in your mailbox.

If you want to change your order, please email hello@blst.world as soon as possible. Since we aim to ship orders the same day as we receive them, your order will be processed shortly after you place it.

It is, unfortunately, not possible to change your order if we've already processed it at our warehouse.

Unfortunately, we cannot add products to your order. You must place a new order if you want to buy something else from our online store.

We aim to dispatch the order within the same day as you place your order (on regular working days before 4 PM). However, during periods of high demand, as in our sales periods or exclusive releases, it might take a little longer. We appreciate your patience!

The delivery time is 2-3 days for international orders. Kindly note that delivery time is estimated from the date of dispatch. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will generally be shipped the next business day. We are not able to send it to postboxes.

All international orders from blstworld.com are shipped with DHL, and we have free shipping.  

We ship all BLÆST orders from our warehouse outside Ålesund in Norway.

We hope you will love everything that you order from us but if something isn’t quite right, you have 14 days to return. Please contact us at return@blst.no with the following if you want to make a return:

  • Please fill in the subject with your order.no
  • Let us know why you want to return
  • We will send you a return label through DHL and guide you on the return process.
  • The cost of return will be deducted from your order amount. 

How long is your return period?

We practice a 14 days return-period, from the day that you receive your order. Returns that are returned outside the return-period of 14 days can be denied and shipped back to you.

Purchased items are not exchangeable into a different size and/or color. Exchanges are handled in the same manner as a return. You need to place another order of your desired product/size and we will ship this to you while your return/refund are being processed.

It may take up to 14 days to process the return and for you to receive the refund. If you have paid directly with card/Paypal, we will send the refund directly back to the same account from which the money was drawn from. 

If you are awaiting your refund, please check the return shipments tracking to see if the order has reached our warehouse. If it has reached our warehouse, please check the status of your billing/order with the third-party payment provider you used to complete your purchase.

Chances are the refund is already processed at our end. The refund must also be processed through the payment provider.

We do not have any standard practices for compensations or handling of accepted claims. It is important for us to solve claim-cases with creative and sustainable solutions which makes our customers happy and satisfied, so please let us know if you have any good ideas for us to help you with your faulty product.

We do not handle complaints regarding BLÆST products that are not purchased through our online store. If you are having issues with a BLÆST product purchased from a one of our retailers, please contact this particular retailer regarding your claim.

Washing a down/insulated jacket can seem like a daunting task, which is understandable. It does take time. But if you’ve spilled hot chocolate or played outside in the mud with your kids, you might have to.  Luckily, our jackets can handle machine wash and tumble dryer – so all you have to do, is follow a few easy steps:

  • Do not dry clean
  • Before you wash your down jacket, make sure to close all zippers, buttons, and sleeve cuffs.
  • Remove the attachable reflective tags. If your product has a belt, you should remove this too, if possible.
  • Turn your jacket inside out and make sure the front zipper is closed.
  • Wash the jacket alone, with tumble dryer balls. If your washing machine has a program for down products, you should use this. If not, select a gentle washing program at 30º.
  • Use a mild detergent, but no bleach, softening or rinsing agents. They can damage the water-resistant properties and the color of the fabric.
  • Tumble dry at low heat with tumble dryer balls. If you don’t have a tumble dryer, you should hang-dry the jacket. Make sure you shake and puff the jacket every half hour until it’s completely dry.
  • Do not iron the product.

As an add-on you can use water repellent spray on the outside of the garment after washing, for optimal water-resistance. This has nothing to do with the waterproof quality of the garment, but it does make it easier for water to roll off the outer fabric.

When it’s time to wash your poncho, pants or other non-insulated BLÆST products, you can easily do that by following these steps:

  • Do not dry clean.
  • Close all zippers, buttons, and sleeve cuffs.
  • Remove the attachable reflective tags. If your product has a belt, you should remove this too, if possible.
  • Make sure you wash the garment separately.
  • Use a mild detergent, but no bleach, softening or rinsing agents. They can damage the water-resistant properties and colors of the fabric.
  • Machine wash at 30º. If possible, select a wash cycle that rinses the garment twice.
  • Hang the product to dry. Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not iron.

As an add-on, you can use water repellent spray on the outside of the garment after it has dried for optimal water-resistance. This has nothing to do with the waterproof quality of the garment, but it does make it easier for water to roll off the outer fabric.

If you have got grease stains on your item, we recommend using a mild dishwashing detergent. Wet the stain, pour a little soap directly on it, and leave it on for up to half an hour. Wash the product according to the washing instructions. It is important that the liquid is thoroughly rinsed out of the product before washing due to the risk of over-foaming in the machine.

We do not recommend using Vanish on our products, as this contains bleach.
